Monthly Produce Box
Looking for a bounty of local, healthy produce? Try our monthly produce box!
This monthly box will be a curated box of fresh, seasonal vegetables and herbs. Each box will include:
Two salad mix or lettuce heads
A cooking green
Root vegetables
Two herb bunches
Seasonal vegetables such as tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, winter squash, potatoes, and much more.
The amount in each box supplies a household of 2-4 people for 1-1.5 weeks.
You will receive one box of produce the first Friday of each month July-November. The boxes will be available for on farm pickup 3pm-6pm on the first Friday or the first Saturday at the Ashfield Farmers Market.
CSA stands for "community supported Agriculture." The CSA model is an opportunity for individuals and families to invest in their local farms. We think of it as a win-win: you the customer get fresh, local produce at an affordable, locked-in price and we the farmers are paid upfront for our work. This allows us to grow exactly what we know we can sell, thus reducing waste. Importantly, it also means we have funds at the beginning of the season to purchase all the inputs, equipment and labor costs that come with each farming season.

We believe that accessing fresh, local, and nutritious food is a basic human right. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our monthly produce boxes no matter their income. In order to offer FREE and discounted produce boxes, we ask the community to help us support those who cannot afford a produce box. If you are able to contribute a little bit (or a lot!) toward supporting another family in receiving a produce box, please choose from the options below in donating towards a monthly produce box. We thank you for supporting everyone in accessing fresh produce.
If you or your family feel that you cannot afford the $50/month, we are offering discount codes so that you can choose an amount that fits your budget. We will not ask for income verification, and are not tracking who applied discounts, we are simply offering discount codes and putting faith in our community that you will only use them if you need them. Everyone will receive the same produce box every month no matter what you are paying.
